Shared living arrangements facilitate community inclusion for individuals living with diverse developmental disabilites. Activities, daily living opportunities and direct support is determined by the individuals.
Independent living bridges the gap for individuals who need some supports but otherwise have the ability and interest in living on their own.
These services enable the individual living with their family to have a meaningful and personalized day program which provides the family members with the opportunity to go to work or to have time off from caregiving.
Individuals live in varied and unique family care arrangements which meet their specific needs and desires. These may include living directly with a family, or in their own apartment within a family home.
